Re: Super sports mister for name branding through bigtime buzz

I have targeted the beer and soft drink guys for a new product i have invented. The Cool Blaster is a 10 nozzles super fine mist water sprayer that will throw out a 15 foot tall mist plume that will cool 30F or more in seconds. it cools 10 times better than those pump up “Misty MAte” misters sold at WALMART.
I just can’t seem to get any intertest even though products like Miller ‘Chill” and “Serria Mist” seem like a natural for a instant water mister. The new series of aluminum bottles for Bud Miller and moutain Dew are a great target as my trigger pump will screw on with a easy adapter we designed.
I even tried the NASACAR guys at the beer compaines. Having pit crews and straff witht eh BUD COOL BLASTER seemed like a good idea..Help.
I have a DVD showing 2 different TV news spot that tested the Cool Blaster that cooled of a sun baked car interior ( 170F to 70f in seconds.
I tried Gatoraide as they paid Tiger Woods a fortune to brand his name on a new sports drink line but once again no reply.
Tom, over the years we have been approached by many inventors in this manner. The steps for developing a new product require obtaining legal advice so you can determine what steps you want to protect. Having an actual sample will assist you in this process.
Submissions to marketers is an a case by case basis. Marketers enjoy seeing new ideas as it may be a basis for growing their business. They are also skeptical of just doing it if it did not come through an approved channel. Corporations advise their personnel to not take extraneous concepts as it may be something they have considered and are developing or are not considering at this time, but want to reserve the right to act at a later date.
If you have a terrific concept, suggest you market at retail. If it is a winner, the companies will find you.
Best wishes
How do I market a great Taco Bell commercial idea?
Posted by Betty from Jacksonville, FL, US on June 15, 2008
I am an abuela ( grandma) I am hispanic(Mexican-American), intelligent and speak Spanish fluently.
I have a commercial idea I have been practicing on since I became a grandma. How can I get to corporate headquarters to hear it? My question is:
Can I market an idea for Taco Bell? Gracias, Abuela Betty Maestas
It is my understanding Taco Bell had a lawsuit over a creative submission from the outside. It was very costly to them.
Taco Bell is owned by Yum Yum Corporation. They are based in Irvine, California.
Call their Vice President of Adverrtising directly.
Give it a shot!

We are building a new music & motorsports complex with 40 box suites and other advertising/marketing opportunities. All events here will be televised for celebrity causes.
Could you recommend a company to handle our naming rights and other marketing partnership opportunities?
Several companies are specilaizing in this area.
They are IMG out of Cleveland, Ohio.
Creative Artists, Century City. Also connect with IEG Group in Chicago. They can point you to others.
Sounds great.
