Modeling
Posted by Cierrah from Dumas, AR, US on May 2, 2008

I have just recently heard of the TracyLocke. I would like my daughter to be part of the phenomenom. My daughter\\\’s name is Jaziah. Jaziah is six months old and the love and joy of my life. She has a smile and a look that would make your heart drop. She can make you spoil her without even knowing it. How can I get her into modeling wheather it\\\’s her being a Gerber Baby or a stocking model? A lady told me that Tracy Locke was the way to go. She told me the location in Texas is really good. At first I was skeptical about her doing any modeling, but when I look into those eyes I see a beautiful baby who makes me proud everytime I look at her. She has a face the world needs to see. Can you help me?

Hi. Tracy Lokce is an ad agency. Highly unlikely they would specialize in baby modeling although they may use an agency to resource talent.

See this link. http://www.actingmodeling.com/modeling/baby_models.htm. They provide "best practices".

good luck.

Retail Marketing Concept
Posted by John from Cleveland, OH, US on April 2, 2008

Hello Bob… I have a marketing concept/idea that I believe would be a tremendous business driving program, a store/chain differentiator, attract new and different clientele, and give a great deal of free “positive” public publicity. Here’s my problem, I have tried to contact Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart, Costco, Meijer, etc., but cannot get an audience with their marketing folks. How would you suggest I move forward?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can share,

John

Typically , one is best served to identify one individual in the target company responsible for determining if the recommendation has value to proceed further. This could be through their heads of advertsing, marketing, pr or other. I have always believed the shortest distance is direct. Simply put, be tenacious.

i just read an article about publishers clearing house awarding millions of dollars to winners in all states except for two. my question is …is hawaii one of them and if so is there a law prohibiting them from including hawaii in the sweepstkes?

It is our understanding of chance promotion laws that Hawaii does not have any exclusionary statutes for general sweepstakes. I cannot speak to the PCH offering. Each promotion needs to stand on its own. The structure of the sweepstakes offering may be such that PCH wants to exclude a region for their own business purpose.

Which marketers are most apt to be willing to be a sponsor of USA Volleyball?
Posted by Don from Long Beach, CA, US on April 1, 2008

USA Volleyball has a terrific offering to sponsors who want to be involved with the ‘08 Olympics in Beijing, and who would also like to market to USAV’s 200,000 active members and their families. Which companies are most apt to sponsor this great property and how can I get through to them?

Sponsor site is at:

http://web.mac.com/klosterman/iWeb/USAVB_Sponsors/Welcome.html

Don, Volleyball has a longstanding following of solid marketers. However, the key issue at this stage is timing. Marketers build marketing platforms around sponsorships committing substantial sums. There simply may not be sufficient time to support at this stage. Best wishes.
