Product or promotion? My company has recently launched a new service called ReturnIt . It is a simple way to return lost property. Think of all the cell phones, IPODs and cameras out there that get misplaced and it is a big problem. We launched it as a retail product but a number of people have suggested we might get more traction pushing it as a service a company might offer their customers, “as our valuable customer we are providing you with complimentary service.” Without knowing the specifics of ReturnIt it is difficult for me to provide you with a detailed response. However, based on your brief question I would offer it as a service. I would target companies and offer to provide this service on their behalf as a value added to the consumers that purchase that product. |
