prizes How long does a sponsor have to award prizes after stated date in Florida's requirement ,which is the most stringent of the state requirements, is 60 days from date of winner selection. If you are unable to send prizes within that time frame (due to lack of confirmation of all winners), you may submit an extension letter to Florida and receive an additional 60 days to award the prizes . If necessary, you may continue sending the extension letters until winners are confirmed.
Canadian Sweepstakes I heard that for sweepstakes in Canada you need to include in the rules that the winner must answer a skill-based question to redeem their prize. Is this still true and what does a skill-based question mean? Yes, Canadian winners are still required to answer a skill based question correctly in order to receive their prize.
