Extending entry deadlines We’re near the end of a Sweepstakes and would like to extend the entry deadline so we get more entries. We’d still give away all the prizes, but would like to do it a few months later. Is this a problem? Yes. It is a problem. You must cut off entry on the date/time published in the official rules. This is one of the reasons it's essential to monitor entry level during the promotion. If you discover entry is low, or only coming from part of the country, there's a lot you can do to stimulate entry during the promotion. But you are not allowed to extend the entry deadline in order to get more entries. |
